Have you ever felt that you want to talk, you don’t have none
You have a spouse, partner, but you feel alone
You yearn a friend but there is none
Because you have made yourself to be alone
Now you want to be with one
Once upon a time, you had many friends
Off the many there was one, only one
Now you only have memories of the one
Now you are the only one, looking for that one!

I have become an adult
But I have a child inside me
I had a friend
Who was always besides me
I think I have grown old
But I have a yearning to be bold
I had a friend
Who always used to buck me
I think I have forgotten thee
But I have those memories
I had a friend
Who can never be replaced
I want to be happy
But I have been happier
I had a friend
Who always made it merrier
I want to be different
But I am afraid of change
I had a friend
Who accepted me as I am
I wanted to go long
But I was afraid to be short
I had a friend
Who had faith in me
I believe I have everything
But I have one lost feeling
I had a friend
Who was always with me
I wanted to be loved
But I was always resented
I had a friend
Who was always there to love me
I knew I had a twin
But I only found me alone
I had a friend
Who was always my shadow
